Golden Elk Healing

Leslie was born and raised in the Chicago suburbs.  She earned her degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology in 1991 from Purdue University.

In the late 1990s, Leslie felt a strong desire to help others heal and began studying Reiki under Rick Vrenios at The Reiki Council in Glen Ellyn, Illinois.  She later studied with Rivian Wolf in Arlington Heights, Illinois, and also with Angela Harding in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Leslie and her husband moved to Utah in 2007 to be close to the beautiful Wasatch mountains and take advantage of year round outdoor activities.  She enjoys hiking, camping, skiing, yoga, Tai Chi, growing orchids, reading and personal growth and development.

Why Golden Elk?

In many cultures around the world, the elk is a symbol of strength, stamina, agility, power and freedom.  These are also the qualities embodied in many aspects of healing.

Strentgh and stamina are needed to heal and to face life's daily challenges. 

Power can only come from within, no one can give it to you OR take it away without your permission.  Healing on a mental and emotional level allows the person to become empowered and discover their own inner source of strength.

Finally, any healing process is freeing on many levels, whether you are seeking freedom from physical, mental or emotional pain.
